Licence terms
These terms apply to templates bought from this site. The shop is not open for orders yet, and a solicitor is reviewing this page before it opens, so some wording will change. It is published now so you can read it before you ever have to rely on it.
These terms apply when you buy a Donga Docs template, pack or safety system. "We", "us" and "Donga Docs" means the business trading as Donga Docs, ABN 94 893 954 479. "You" means the business that buys the template.
What you can do
When you buy a template, we give you a non-exclusive licence to use it inside your business. You can:
- Edit it however you like: add your name and logo, change the wording, add or remove content
- Use it on as many of your own sites and jobs as you want, and copy and print it as often as you need
- Share it with your own workers, including employees, subcontractors and labour hire working for you
- Give the completed document to your principal contractor, client, auditor, insurer or the WHS regulator as part of your work
What you can't do
- Sell, share or give away the template, whether blank or lightly edited, to another business
- Upload it to a website, template library, shared drive or document marketplace where others can get it
- Use it to build a product or service that competes with Donga Docs
- Transfer the licence to another business, except to a business that buys yours
Consultants and advisers
If you prepare WHS documents for other businesses, you need a licence for each client business you use a template for.
Who owns what
Copyright in the templates stays with Donga Docs. The details you add, such as your company information, site details and changes to the method, belong to you.
If the terms are broken
If you break these terms, your licence ends and you must stop using and delete the templates. We may also take action to protect our copyright.
Changes
We may update these terms. The version on this page when you buy is the one that applies to that purchase.
