Privacy policy

Donga Docs is a small business. We follow the Australian Privacy Principles as good practice, and we keep the information we collect to the minimum needed to sell you a template.

What we collect

• When you buy: your name, email address, business name and billing details. Card payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card number.
• When you email us: your email address and whatever you include in the message
• When you ask for a free template: your email address, whether you ticked the box to hear about new templates, and which page you asked from
• When you visit the site: basic visitor numbers, such as which pages are viewed and roughly where visitors are, collected by Cloudflare Web Analytics. It uses no cookies, doesn't track you across other sites, and doesn't identify you personally.

Free downloads and emails about new templates

If you give us your email address to get a free template, we use it to send you that template. We will not send you anything else unless you ticked the box asking for it.

If you did tick it, we will occasionally email you when new templates go up. Every one of those emails carries an unsubscribe link that works immediately, without you having to contact us or log in anywhere. You can also email hello@dongadocs.com.au and we will take you off the list.

We do not sell, rent or share the list with anyone.

Why we collect it

• To deliver what you bought, send your receipt, and handle refunds
• To answer your questions
• To let you know if we find an error in a template you've bought
• To send occasional product news, but only if you opt in. You can unsubscribe any time.

Who we share it with

We share only what's needed with the services that run the shop: Stripe (which takes the payment and issues your tax invoice), our email provider, Cloudflare (which hosts the site and counts visits) and our accountant. Some of these services may store data outside Australia. We don't sell or rent your information to anyone.

Keeping it safe

We use reputable providers with secure logins, and keep order records for as long as tax law requires.

Your choices

You can ask to see or correct the information we hold about you, or ask us to delete it where we're not required to keep it. Email hello@dongadocs.com.au. If you're not happy with how we've handled a privacy issue, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).
